Small run of glossy white top (w/ printed bouzouki art) +black bottom surface CDRs - Unique design& hand assembled packaging.. brown-ish craft paper sleeves w/ stitching on either side & flap at top. Every pocket or jacket was then randomly attacked with numerous paints/inks/posca pens/clay/whiteout and other materials that were at an arms reach But all kept to a few colours/shades such as black,brown,white,gray(?). Each includes various coloured felt cutouts, to act as support, and thin rounded plastic inner sleeves along with a folded text insert/tracklist printed on thick cardstock. All stored in resealable plastic outer sleeves.

"Tracks 1-5 and 7 recorded in August 2017 at the Crumbling Pink Palace, Preston, Victoria. All sounds improvised with a 6-string electric bouzouki, objects and hissing amp.

Track 6 improvised in front of an audience on the 2nd of June 2017 at Schmørgåsbaag, a furniture shop/gallery/bar in Hobart, Tasmania. It was the opening of Suryo Herlambang’s exhibition ‘The Voyagers’. The amp made unintended sounds, a drum kit rattled, people talked some of the time, otherwise it was just the electric bouzouki and a lap steel guitar slide.

This is the 3rd solo release by bouzouki boss ie Melbourne based Tim Panaretos. [who is one half of Melb duo The Drunken Boat - who's brilliant 'Side Show' album was released on chem imbal last year!/ also played in Untermorast & Soundtracks Will Dissolve amongst others.]
Tim's previous solo albums were released on his own excellent CDR label Frustration Jazz along with other noteworthy titles by the likes of David Palliser [Charles Ives Singers, People With Chairs Up Their Noses, etc.] & Bad Magic [Hammering the Cramps, Howling Gruel, etc.] + more.. so be sure to check it out sometime!
