'twozeroonenine' is the latest output from the super prolific, outsider artist/musician outta Lismore (NSW, AyeYU), Michael Donnelly [of: Terracid, Brothers of the Occult Sisterhood, 6majik9, Sky Needle, No Guru, Wardenburger, FFEHRO, Noise Machines, FRAK, MYMWLY/Hashram labels] -this time from his solo DIY synth-based, acid-soaked, abstract (not quiet)techno project/alias; UNWAR. after being on hiatus for a few years; It features 2 servings [one per side] of longform, almost undefinable, fried-electronic pieces - halfway between a sci-fi film score & [non]dance -warped beats inside a bouncy ball goin' up 'n down up 'n down repeatably for almost 20 mins [x2] - mooziks for tha trippers/non-clubbers.. unless the club is ya mum's basement or a bush doof - without the "dooferz", OR intergalactic/otherworldly beatz/ from outtah space, mixtape dropped by time-travellers/or visiting aliens, UFO-toonz. perhaps? now that that's clear...
  Cassette comes housed in clear norelco cases w/ various coloured hand painted shape on the front & coloured/b+w embossed dymo labels attached to the spine.. Wonderful papier-mâché "deconstructed collage" inlays, made by the artist - no two copies are the same! - chem imbal stampings on the flipside, plus loose xerox paper text insert inside. Each includes a digital D/L slip on green paper. **
