  The latest offering from Brissy legends ∑GG√E|N, hilariously titled after an Elton John "classic" - y'know the one - A well known group amongst their local underground/DIY community for wild performances/stage personas & piss-takin' [RE; album/song titles, lyrics, costumes, impossible to write band name, etc.] for a number of years now, since forming back in 2011 I believe.. though have unfortunately+undeservedly been mostly overlooked outside of BNE.. On this album recorded in 2018, they give us a fusion, across 9-tracks, of their unique brand of oddball heavy rawk'n'roll, whilst also dabbling in moments of psych/kraut/prog/noise-desert-gutter-stoner rock & doom metal, et. al. Current & perhaps best line up to date, in 5-piece mode featuring two OGs [David+Archie] plus 3 other new-newer-newish players, from various brisbane experimental acts, such as; Brainbeau/Dust Storm Jogger/MSG Unit/Dez Threts/VeronikaXEater, etc.etc.!
